rainbow

Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.
When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge.
There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together.
There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.
All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor.

Those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by.
The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.
They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance.
His bright eyes are intent. His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.
You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again.
The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.
Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together ...

Mitzee
"Mitzee" My dalmation who lost her life so sudden on Sept 11, 2005 from a tumor on her spleen. She lived 12 great years with our family and will be so missed by everyone who knew her. Her smiles as you were greeted at the door the love of going for a car ride or a walk down the street. She has now crossed over to the Rainbow bridge, a happy place. I will miss her so. We will love you forever, Your Mommy, Jayme

Melanie
Melanie has crossed the rainbow bridge Dec. 2004. She will be greatly missed by her Mommy, Daddy and Sister, and her feline sisters, Molly and Shayla.

Clovis
My oldest, and best, kitty, Clovis, was euthanized last night at 9 p.m 5/6/06. He was diagnosed with lymphocytic lymphoma (cancer of the lymph nodes) in October 2003 and was given a 6 month to 2 year prognosis... wonderfully, he made it nearly 3 years! Sadly, he couldn't go any further. It was time. He knew it, and I knew it. Fortunately, Doug and I were prepared and Clovis never had to leave his home (thanks Patti for the meds). I held him in my arms while Doug gave the final injection. I promised him: no more needles, no more blood tests, no more medications, no more pain... We buried him in the backyard in a memorial garden we had built just for him (and the other kids, when the time comes). There's a handmade headstone, complete with his little paw prints -- the ones that walked across my heart, and left their mark there as well. I cry a lot, and am still crying, but he and I both knew when it was time. He didn't fight. He went in peace. After a short ceremony with candles and incense, and a word of prayer to the Lord and Lady, he has now crossed over the Bridge to Summerland, where he can rest until his spirit is rested and strong enough to return. For all of you who I would have normally called, I apologize, but an email is much easier for me to handle at this point. We can talk soon. Thanks to all of you who have supported me through this. You know who you are, and Clovis, Doug and I thank you. Love,Lori

Barney
Barney crossed the rainbow bridge Dec. 6th 2004, He will be greatly missed by his Daddies Al and Rob.

Sally Anne
Sally Anne has crossed the rainbow bridge Oct 2004, Her life was short but she was very much loved by her Mommy and k-9 friend. She will be forever loved and missed.
