rainbow

Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.
When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge.
There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together.
There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.
All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor.

Those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by.
The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.
They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance.
His bright eyes are intent. His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.
You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again.
The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.
Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together ...

Reginald
6/18/07, Due to a long battle with liver problems, Reggie has crossed over to the Rainbow Bridge. I hope he will find peace and happiness. I will greatly miss my (button nose) cat. I love you with all my heart!! Reg was born April 12, 2002. He is neutered, fully vaccinated and tested felv/fiv neg. He was rescued as a 4 month old kitten, in a location that was being torn down. He is very shy but loves to come onto bed so he can get petted. He is the type of cat that will bond to one person. He loves to play with other cats as well. This is a special needs cat because of his shyness towards people.

Rosie aka: Sunkist
Another angel gone; taken too soon. No signs at all; what was I to do? You hid the pain from us; you didn’t want us to know. Just how bad it was for you and that you were ready to go. In life sometimes things happen with no warning to prepare. And then you are angry and broken because it just isn’t fair. But now I have to accept you are really not here anymore. All around the house it’s like a ghost tapping at my door. And I go to open it only to see. That you are not there and again you will never be. Goodbye sweet Rosie, such an angel of a girl. You lit up the room for anyone that entered your world. And although I want you back, I know there is no other way. But I also know now you’re free and will always be able to play. Up at that bridge, across that rainbow, please be there to greet me. And one sunny day, you and I, once again, together we will be. But from now until then I’ll hold your memory inside my heart. In a place I’ll never lose you where my love will never part. Rest In Peace my baby girl Rosie. 12.2.17 written on 12/4/17 Wendy B.

Rumbles
