11/3/05-1/21/12 I want to tell your personally about Aquilla. She was put down today after an emergency trip to the ER last night. She was having trouble breathing which we thought heart. Then that was ruled out to think Asthma. They sedated her because they were concerned about a section in her throat. Today they were able to look under anesthesia and find a huge mass which was occluding her airway. Instead of waking her up she was humanly put to sleep. Not being able to say goodbye in person it broke my heart to give permission not to wake her up. She is now running pain free over the rainbow bridge and I will see her one day again. She has been in my care for over 2 years when we pulled her from Animal Control after her owner surrendered her. She was a difficult cat to place as she was blind and if someone did not alert her to your coming she would swipe out. She has had a wonderful 2 years with my cats and my family. Running up and down steps playing with her toys which once in her mouth she would chirp away. She would sleep backwards on the steps at the very top. I will so miss you ..
