Other Pictures of Thumbprint (click to see larger version):Our website is updated daily **Taking applications, but not available until January 7, 2022.** Thumbprint, aka Prin, arrived to us with her mom and siblings. Prin is a sweet snuggle girl who will enjoys being pet and snuggled. She has traditional Golden hamster markings, like her sister Tassy. Prin's cap marking is much smoother, forming a tidy little triangle that is the perfect landing spot for kisses. Her quirks include her entitled air of not holding her own treats, eating directly from the hand that feeds her and then licking to see if it's all gone. While out of her enclosure Prin will seek out a warm comfy place to settle down and await being hand fed treats. Prin is looking for a calm home that will provide her with a lot of attention and of course snuggles.Thumbprint is being fostered in Edgewater Park, NJ along with several of her Holiday Cookie siblings. Hamsters are crepuscular creatures. Like many other mammals, hamsters are more likely to be awake and active at dawn or dusk. This isn’t to say that some hamsters don’t ever stay awake all night. Much like humans, individual hamsters have their own sleep patterns. They aren’t all awake and playful at exactly the same time. This does mean you may not get quality time with them since most won't wake up until evening/night time.
