Rittenhouse Square Philadelphia PA 2011 Philadelphia Walk for Animals Event Details Registration is free and open to the public, but advance registration is required - click here to register now! . Each walker will be provided with a sponsor packet to accept pledges from friends, family, and co-workers who wish to support their walk! Sign-in for the Walk will begin at 9:30 am on Saturday June 25, 2011. The Walk will begin at 10 am, following an easy 2.5 mile route that departs from the Ethical Society Building (1906 S. Rittenhouse Square), travels west several blocks to the scenic Schuylkill River Banks Path, then follows the River Banks Path north to the Philadelphia Art Museum before turning around and reversing course. At the conclusion of the walk, PAWS and The Humane League of Philadelphia will be co-hosting a Spring Festival for the Animals which will run from 11 am to 1 pm.
