Other Pictures of Patches (click to see larger version):Our website is updated daily Patches is spayed, UTD on vaccines and tested negative for FIV/FeLV. Approx. DOB is April 2015. Left Eye: Patches had a severe eye infection when she was pulled from a high kill shelter and was taken to the Veterinary Specialty and Emergency Center in Levittown for evaluation. The ophthalmologist at VSEC determined that she had a severe corneal ulcer which had ruptured. She performed a procedure where the third eyelid was stitched over her left eye temporarily to help it heal. When the stitch was removed, it showed that the procedure saved her eye AND her vision! She has minor scarring to the cornea, and her 3rd eyelid is slightly bent, but it does not bother her at all! While her left eye still looks a little different than her right, it does not stop her from running, jumping, and playing, and thankfully she still has vision in that eye.
Bio: Patches is a sweet, adorable cat who is extremely shy at first. Once she is comfortable, she is all over you, following you around and talking to you but she will hide when company comes. Patches enjoys running and playing with the other cats in her foster home. She is great with other cats as long as they are not rough, she will hide under a bed if the cat is too rough. She often hangs out at the back door waiting for the neighborhood cats to come around and say hello. She thinks they are her friends and rolls on the floor when she sees them and tries to play with them by pawing on the glass on the door. She likes to jumps on up her foster mom’s lap to talk to her and to be petted before curling up on her to nap. Every night she falls asleep curled up next to her foster mom in bed. She likes both cat food and human food which why she is little chunky. She will do best in quiet home that not too noisy.
