NOT UP FOR ADOPTION YET!!!!!!!Gimps came to us as a stray lurking for a warm place to hide. He had been hit by a car dragging his hind right leg. Not knowing but he was already neutered, and all 4 declawed roaming the streets. Hungry, scrared, hurting and loaded with fleas. He now resides at Rockledge Vet Clinic where he needs surgery to repair his broken leg. The surgen is due to come in and tell us weather he will do best if he has it removed or pined. More to come as we have updates.11-17-06 The Dr. Feels he will do best if the leg is pined. The surgey will cost the rescue 600.00 to fix his leg. Please if anyone can help off set the costs, it will greatly be appreciated. More to come on his progress. Thanks NAR

Update12-20-06 Gimps still is in recovery. He is a great cat. So far he has not put much weight on that leg and there is some concern. The surgeon has seen him several times. The vet hospital has continued to hold him for us in case of problems.

He will not be put up for adoption until a 80% recovery has occurred. so far we are about 40-50 % . We will know more after the New Year.

Our fees have gone up to 693.00 for him.
