Rayne is spayed, UTD on vaccines and tested negative for FIV/FeLV. Approx. DOB is July 2014.

Sweet Rayne had made a herself a New Year’s resolution – get off the streets and become a spoiled housecat.  She wasted no time putting her resolution into motion – on New Year’s Day, hungry, skinny, eyes damaged from illness, Rayne appeared on a NAR volunteer’s doorstep in the freezing January cold, asking to be let in.  Our volunteer could tell that her vision was severely limited, if there was any at all, and quickly scooped her up and brought her to safety.  Once in foster care, this very affectionate gal was determined to have completely lost her vision, and had both damaged eyes removed to make her more comfortable.  But don’t let her lack of sight fool you – Rayne more than makes up for it in personality!  She will follow you everywhere, she plays with toys and loves her scratching posts.  She gets along well with other cats and dogs.  Rayne would do best in an experienced cat home with older children, as she does not like being picked up (she panics), but if you’re sitting down, she will come to you and sit with you and she loves to snuggle.  Oh, that New Year’s resolution?  Off the streets – check.  House cat – check.  Spoiled – we know there is a person or family out there who can treat her like a queen, and give her a home of her very own.  Are you the one who can help Rayne meet her last resolution?
