Hi!  I’m so pleased to meet you – my name is Jason, and I think your lap is calling my name!  Wait, you say you can’t hear that call?  Let me tell you what that sounds like (Jason starts purring loudly).  And that toy over there?  The crinkly ball?  Yes, my name is on that as well – and I’m inviting you to play until I get tired, then we can both take a nap together.  I think that sounds like a fantastic plan, don’t you?  You see, I was once a scared kitten, living outside with my siblings, until a nice person rescued us and showed us just how wonderful sunbeams can be when you’re lying on a couch, and not on a sidewalk.  I want to share my love of the indoors with you!  I get along with everyone – other cats, kids, even dogs!  Do you hear your lap calling me yet?  It’s where I belong!
