1/21/14 update: Monkee is coming into her own since her brother was adopted. She loves to play, even with toys that aren't cats toys. She knows her name/nickname and will usually come over to foster mom when called. She loves head scratches and is known to help herself to her foster mom's french fries.

Her eyes are still in great shape and her foster mom thinks that she may see some shadows. When a bright light is shined in her eyes, she does squint.

Are you looking for a Monkee? Then look no further! Monkee is an active gal who LOVES to play and run. Her favorite toys include crinkle balls, springy toys, a track ball scratcher, and anything that makes noise. Why you ask? See, Monkee is visually impaired.

Monkee was pulled from animal control with her brother Nutter. Her eyes were in horrible condition. In fact, she had an ulcer protruding from it. The ulcer has since gone away, with the help of medication. But her eyes are still cloudy and dark. She has one lesion that will need to be watched as she grows, but otherwise she is just a typical, active kitten.

But don't let her fool you. She is a purr machine and loves to be cradled like a baby — but only when she's tuckered out. Her foster mom will cradle her and rub her head until she's fast asleep. It's the cutest thing. And speaking of cute, have you noticed her markings? How can you resist her all white body with a tabby tail and ears! She's truly a gorgeous girl.

Monkee's foster mom would love to she her adopted with her brother Nutter. Monkee is somewhat of a teacher and definitely the older sibling. Monkee will do something like jumping on the couch, and a few days later Nutter has figured it out as well. They are a great pair. Please consider adopting them together.
