We got a call on a cold night saying they found a kitten lying on the porch. He was just born. They left him outside overnight thinking the mom cat would come back for him but we told them only wait an hour or so before he dies.
We had a Mom cat who just had her baby only 12 hours prior. To our surprise she took to him as her own.
