Description:
The Cat's story-My mom's friend M------(41) rents a Hatboro warehouse that contains her office. She found the cat (never bothered to name him) and has kept him in a room in the warehouse for about a year and a half. M------ lives in Old City, and spends about only1-2 hours a day at the Hatboro warehouse and the cat is lonely. She asked me to feed the cat while she was away for two weeks. She didn't even own a scooper and there was cat poo all over the smelly room when I first saw it. I was shocked that this middle class friendly woman would do this. She has her own two cats that she maintains well. I later found out from her boyfriend that it always smells in that room, so she can't even claim that it was a one time thing. It never smelled the whole two weeks that I took care of the cat. I tried to stay calm and not show my disgust because I wanted to g et him neutered and adopted out of there and M----- is one of my moms few friends. I scheduled him for the low cost spay neuter because I knew she would do it if I made the appt., hounded her and it was cheap...and she reluctantly did. She insisted that I should only feed him and that I didn't have to change the litter......for two weeks!!! Can you believe it? She didn't have any litter there, so I bought some and cleaned it with my scooper and replaced it pretty close to daily. The whole warehouse smells like autobody paint fumes twenty four seven. It is in an industrial park. The cat is very sweet, likes attention, and rubs his head on people. I brought my dog with me and they got along fine.
Please give this great cat with out a name a forever home. Fill an application out at www.nar.petfinder.com
