SweetPea came to us from the local Animal Shelter. She was going to be surrendered in an oversized cat carrier because the person "found her as a stray" and didn't find the owners. This woman couldn't keep her because "she is too big for the house".
At that time, SweetPea was about 10lbs underweight and had no manners - and was not housebroken. Now she is housebroken, crate-trained, and working on being a lady!!
This little love is about 1 year old. Through foster care, she has been vaccinated, spayed, dewormed, Heartworm tested, and Microchipped. She is full of energy and ready to go to her forever home!
SweetPea's foster mom would love to see her go to a home with a fenced yard because SweetPea LOVES to run and play! She loves children, other dogs, and doesn't even mind cats! SweetPea has a very docile disposition, but still thinks she is a lap puppy!! This little pup is sure to win someone's heart - and that "someone" will be given all the love and puppy kisses they could ever want!
