Meet Aphrodite. A young, loving female who needs a home. She was rescued off the streets and shows her gratitude everyday. She came from a home where she was the only cat and was looked after. Her owners however grew tired of her and just threw her out onto the cold, dark streets one evening. Aphrodite fought to survive among the stray cats and managed to make it to a doorstep where she sat down and cried until finally, the person who lived there found her. She was shaken, cold and scared but managed to get up the courage to go to the person for help. The person brought her in and found her to be loving and willing to trust again. Unfortunately, she was found that due to her terrible ordeal, and being left outside to defend herself, she has developed a special need and now is in need of a special home. One that she can call her own and receive the love she deserves. She is so young and full of love but her time is short. Aphrodite can only be fostered for so long and we find her time to be running out faster each day. Several people came forward to ask about her, but in the end, she was left without a home and a broken heart from fake promises of a better future. If you have a home, one without any cats, and are looking for the most affectionate, vocal cat in the city of Philadelphia, Aphrodite may be for you. She is spayed and litter box trained. She does still have her claws but can in fact release upon command. Aphrodite is such an intelligent cat. Please, save her before her time runs out.
