Description:
Tabitha is a real cool cat with wild looks. She is the calmest cat we have ever had in our house. She is great with our gentle young girls (8, 4,2) and even shares our 8 yr old daughter's room. Tabitha likes to spend her time resting on the top bunk bed; but, when we enter the room she is always sure to come down for some petting. She is a quiet cat but likes the companionship of people. A gentle caress here or there and Tabitha is happy. She's got pretty yellow/green eyes with her angular shaped face (like an oriental cat).
She tolerates other animals (She shares her room with 2 ferrets-they are caged when not supervised. She usually jumps on the bed when they are out.) However, another cat for Tabitha is not needed. She seems to only really want people around her.
She has never had any elimination problems here. She uses a covered litter pan with scoopable litter that we poopy scoop daily. She enjoys both wet and dry cat food(we only give her can food once a week). She likes cool fresh water daily too.
Tabitha was found as a friendly stray in our yard (she was not microchipped and had no collar). She would come by our playground daily (when our girls would play outside) until we noticed her sleeping on our porch at night. We would love to keep Tabitha but feel that she deserves a better home where she would get more attention and not so stressed out by all our other (rescued feral) cats. She is friendly and social.
Thank you for considering opening your heart and home to a wonderful cat in need. Remember, when you adopt from a rescue (even a cat in foster care) you not only save the cat you are adopting; but, you also save another needy cat for the opportunity/space you create for them to go into.

She is spayed, felv/fiv tested negative and vaccinated. Please fill an application out at www.nar.rescuegroups.org

She was born sometime April 2009
