Description:

Our Website is  Updated Daily

This little guy wants to be the center of someone's life.  He is vocal, like a Siamese or Oriental Shorthair - and has that look about him.  He has the wedge shaped head and long elegant neck - and the pipes to go with it all.  He is grey, with shadowy tabby stripes.

He is a little intimidated by some of the much larger cats in the foster home, but is friendly to all and very playful.  He also wrestles with his roommate, who outweighs him by at least 5 lbs.  It's a toss up between the laser pointer and the feather toy as to his favorite.  Once scooped up and in your arms, he does nothing but purr.

South Paw had a rough start to his life.  His right hind foot and tail were injured and completely healed when we took him in.  We don't know what happened, but we guess he got caught in a car fanbelt.  As a result, he cannot carry his tail upright like other happy cats, but his whole body purrs, so you'll know when he's content.  His injury has left his foot looking different, with scars on his toes, but he is not in any pain, and he has complete use of it.  His running stride is a bit shortened, so he has a "hitch in his git-along" but is not hampered in any way.  He runs and jumps and climbs and plays, and uses the litterbox just fine.  One of his new joys is running up and down the steps and the hallway at full speed.

Why not consider this little lover boy when looking for a new companion?

Approx. DOB is Feb. 24, 2010.

South Paw is neutered, UTD on shots and tested negative for FIV/FeLV.
