Huggy Bear is a super affectionate black and white cat with amazing green eyes!  Huggie wants nothing more than your companionship, your touch, your hugs and your love.  He will repay this with goofy kitten-like playing and lots of talking.  Sometimes his affection is demonstrated by some gnawing on your hand, but he is getting better about this.  He'll need an occasional gentle verbal reminder that chewing on you isn't appreciated.

Huggie was rescued from a local shelter because of an upper respiratory infection, and is now over that.  He kneeds his feet when you talk to him, he is so enthralled with human company.  He loves to be held tight to you and snuggles right in under your chin and purrs away.  After the necessary close contact, he'll find a place to lay down and observe what everyone is doing.

Food has to be his second favorite thing in the world, maybe his first!  He's learning about the cardboard scratcher, and loves just about any toy he can find.  He's was very good with the medium sized dog in the house.  In fact, after the dog got used to him, they played and wrestled together - sometimes playing chase together.  Once he got used to South Paw, they played nicely together, too - either wrestling or playing chase up and down the stairs and hallways.

Huggy was born November 2008, is up to date on his shots, neutered and tested negative for felv/fiv. He will be micro chipped before his adoption is completed.
