Special Needs: Food Allergy

Description:

Leighton was rescued from a local kill shelter in pretty bad condition. She was very lethargic and her foster mom wasn't sure she'd live. Leighton only wanted to be held for hours after arriving at her new foster home. She would cry out if her foster mom put her down. Three days later, after much needed TLC, food and meds, she was up and about like nothing was wrong.

Leighton has a TON of energy and loves to bat around balls and play with the feather wand. Leighton would do best in a home with another playmate.

Leighton has beautiful hazel/gold eyes. Her right eye has an old scar, so it appears milky/cloudy, but it does not hinder her in any way.

Leighton has seen a lot of her foster friends come and go. She is eagerly awaiting her furever family. Could it be yours?

Leighton suffers from a food allergy and is currently on a restricted food diet. She eats Natural Balance Green Pea and Duck.

Leighton is spayed, UTD on vaccines and tested negative for FIV/FeLV. Approx. DOB is April 19, 2010.

Leighton is fostered with other cats and a small, 20lb. dog.
