Emma was found on the streets in Philadelphia by a woman. She took Emma in to care for her and to find her home.  Unfortunately for Emma, the woman kept her in a small cat carrier most of the time and only let her out to eat. The woman called NAR because she was losing weight. When NAR took her she only about 4 lbs and totally dehydrated. She has put on weight and is ready to find her forever home. After everything this poor girl has been through, Emma is the sweetest cat you could ever have. She is coming out of her shell. She has found her foster parents bed to sleep in, plays with all the toys she can find. She has some nightmares but with rubs she goes back to sleep. I hope she will start to have happy dreams soon.  We hope some one will open their home and their heart to give this sweet girl the home she deserves. 

Emma was born around August 2008. She is spayed, up to date on shots and tested negative for FIV/FelV.
