Aallyah is a beautiful young Chinese hamster that came to us as an owner surrender due to lifestyle changes. Chinese are sometimes miss represented as dwarfs in pet stores. They are not a dwarf. Chinese are known to be ghost hamsters. Once out they tend to be sweet hamsters. They love a deep bedded habitat forming lots of tunnels. Aallyah is approximately 7 months old purchased back in Nov 2022. She is located in Northeast section of Philadelphia. Adoption fee is 15.00  

Hamsters are crepuscular creatures. Like many other mammals, hamsters are more likely to be awake and active at dawn or dusk. This isn’t to say that some hamsters don’t ever stay awake all night. Much like humans, individual hamsters have their own sleep patterns. They aren’t all awake and playful at exactly the same time. This does mean you may not get quality time with them since most won't wake up until evening/nighttime.
