Description:
Our website is updated daily Griselda is spayed, UTD on vaccines and tested negative for FIV/FeLV. Approx. DOB is Aug. 2015. Once upon a time, not so long ago and not so far away, I lived in a dark dungeon. Ok it was actually a basement...but creative license, ya know? The King and Queen put me to work as Royal Mousecatcher. Well, let's just say that I didn't excel. It's not because I'm lazy though- I would just have preferred a job as Royal Lapwarmer, or Chief of Cuddling.
Sometimes, the young prince and princess would sneak scraps of food to me. Then one day I was banished from the kingdom- 'Out with you!' they cried, and accused me of
a terrible treason: bringing fleas into the castle.
Well, maybe it looked like fleas, as I was completely bald from the neck down. But I swear I was innocent! From then, I took to life as a beggar. A kind woman saw me and gasped! I assumed it was because of my stunning beauty. But it was actually because she had never seen a cat as skinny as me. And because of my beauty, I'm sure. How many ladies can pull off the bald look?
She contacted a person who rescues cast-off kitties, and that person gasped as well. Apparently, I'm just that breathtaking!
Then I went to a new place. It wasn't a castle, but it was a home filled with love, food and new friends. The doctor says I'm s healthy girl, and my fur loss was due to stress and malnutrition. It's growing back now, and I'm at a healthy weight.
Here, I get to be the lap kitty I always wanted to be. I love to cuddle and snuggle my human friends, and am quick to spot an empty lap that needs warming. I also enjoy nurturing the other kitties here. I snuggle them, and groom them, and then we curl up for a nap.
One day, my foster mom says I'm going to go away again- but this time it will be my forever home. I can't wait to start the next chapter in my fairytale- would you like to be a part of the first ever Griselda story?
