Elizabeth is spayed, UTD on vaccines and tested negative for FIV/FeLV. Approx. DOB is April 2014.
Elizabeth was rescued from Animal Control where she had been brought in from the streets. The vet who examined her stated that they could not see her eyes. The sockets were cleaned and closed up surgically. Unsure cause of blindness. Post surgery, Elizabeth was brought into foster care by NAR. She has adjusted to being with other cats over time and is not as jumpy as she was when she first arrived, but she is still skittish when you go to pet her, but once she knows it's you, she's as sweet as can be. When it's feeding time, she will rub your legs over and over again until the food it put out. Once she has had time to adjust, she has no problem navigating her surroundings. She climbs up and down various towers, finding a spot to curl up for a nap, and she has no problem finding the food bowl. If she is spooked, she will try to run, but has never tried to scratch or bite. She still does not like to be held, but she will stay next to you while you pet her, once she realizes it's you giving her scratchies. She doesn't flinch when the other cats approach her or rub heads with her.
