Hello Jayme & Cindi, I hope you are both enjoying this beautiful holiday weekend! I have been wanting to let you know how Henry and Kady are doing for some time now. I just had to make it a point to write a quick "note" on the anniversary of Henry's Memorial Day adoption (and the anniversary of meeting Kady...her coming home date is not until July...why did I bother to wait? lol) Hard to believe a year has passed already! I can't tell you how happy we are to have both of our NAR kitties! They are bringing so much joy and "fun" to the house. My mom is LOVING having all 5 of our cats. We have affectionately nicknamed Henry "Dennis the Menace" as he is the little trouble maker of the group but Kady is not far behind him in the antics department. So far we don't have any "official" lap kitties, but (as you can see in one of the pictures I sent along) they do sit on my lap fairly often now. No one sits with my mom yet but Kady greets her every morning by climbing up in her face and laying on her chest. Mom LOVES this! All of my cats are very social, so quite frequently we have all 5 downstairs with my mom....playing, laying or ''whatever". We love them so much...THANKS for adding so much happiness to our household! I hope you and your families are well and happy! Have a great summer! I pray that NAR (& special people like YOU) continues to make many more cats and families as happy as you have made us! Take care and I will write again sometime! (Sorry there are so many pictures...we have too many to choose from!) Jane

I just wanted to thank everyone who works for this organization!! You guys help so many deserving souls find homes. I adopted Keyara (formerly Nikkou) and she is the joy of my day, everyday. I cannot imagine her being alone, and it is because of your generosity that she is able to have a permanent home with me. Thanks again!

Jayme, Thank you for taking the time for myself and my family to adopt Skunk (now Jezebel) and Samuel (now Figaro). They are doing amazingly well, they have even adopted the dog. The boys are so happy to see them scamper through the house and delighted each time they are licked by one of the cats. They are happy and healthy and seem to have doubled in size in just a week. Good luck with all the other cats and thanks again.

Jayme, I used to volunteer for you a few years ago before I moved to the Netherlands. I was just checking in on things with NAR. The new website is great! I think of NAR often and hope all of the cats soon find their furever homes. Thank you to everyone who adopts or fosters these cats.

I adopted Nema today. She is already settling right in. No shy cat here. She wants to be with me at all times and is just a little love bug. I have been playing with the laser pointer with her and she loves it. She is exploring our townhouse and meows if we don't go upstairs to "explore" with her. Thanks for all you do and giving me a chance to adopt Nema.

Hi, Jayme! I am still checking to see if Cameo got adopted. I think I forgot to tell you that she was eating out of my hand the first day I saw her roaming around. She was crying for food when I was feeding my cat Silver in the back yard. She is very warm and friendly and wanted to come into the house behind me by the next day. My cat is 10, and kept looking at me when I was holding Cameo, and I was afraid she might get jealous (never has been friendly; it took a long time for her to trust me, and I feed her every day). Cameo is friendly and timid, and never bit me or a friend who picked her up and held her several times. She tried to lick my cat's face several times, but got pushed away. I think she would get along with other cats, and probably kids, too. I truly hope she gets a good home.

I adopted Kicker (now BALFIE) in January 2010 - he is such a blessing to me and my other 10 yr old cat Buoy. Many thanks to Jayme and Kicker's foster mom for keeping him safe and sound until he came to me....

I don't even remember how long we've known each other (years and years). I just wanted to let you know that you've really "takin' the ball" and ran with it and you are really dedicated to the cause. Because of your guidance, I am still doing occasional TNR (when my health allows.) and get suckered into an occasional short-term foster (I probably shouldn't have mentioned that) I just wanted to wishes you many thanks for all the animals you have saved. Keep it up! All I can say is -- we and the animals can't thank you enough to get this up going and KEEP it on the couch.
