Hi! We adopted Tristin in June and just wanted to give an update...we absolutely adore him! He's smart, funny, and loves his dog Sully. Thanks for doing such important work. We can't imagine our lives without Tristin! Love, The Haney Family

Hi... I adopted a cat from your rescue back in 2008 & we have become inseperable companions. I am sure that some will remember Rocco as he seemed to be very popular with the volunteers. I just wanted to say he is doing very well... & is in good health. We have been having some problems w/ fleas, but I've been treating it :) He had a rabies vaccination today & wasn't real happy about that. He was made at me for a while, but now he is sleeping on the couch cushion behind me. I just wanted to say Thank you for the opportunity to adopt from your shelter... I don't know what I would do without my little Kitty-buddy Rocco. :)

Very admirable that someone helps these abused and unwanted pets for they have more feelings than people realize.

just an update on Samantha(diamond) and Sabrina(radar). the girls are wonderful and best friends. they are both sitting here with me snoozing nex to desk. Sam is still shy and doesn't like to be cuddled etc but will cling when i do get to hold her + always sleeps within arms reach+ talks in her sleep. . Sabrina is still the wild child at age 4 but the best younger sister- always washing Sam and loves me to cuddle her and do belly kisses. thanks to you and your group-+ love from the 2 sleeping (spoiled rotten) beauties. ps- best compliment i recieved was from guard at work who wants to come back as one of my cats..... keep up the wonderful work

Hello Jayme & Cindi, I hope you are both enjoying this beautiful holiday weekend! I have been wanting to let you know how Henry and Kady are doing for some time now. I just had to make it a point to write a quick "note" on the anniversary of Henry's Memorial Day adoption (and the anniversary of meeting Kady...her coming home date is not until July...why did I bother to wait? lol) Hard to believe a year has passed already! I can't tell you how happy we are to have both of our NAR kitties! They are bringing so much joy and "fun" to the house. My mom is LOVING having all 5 of our cats. We have affectionately nicknamed Henry "Dennis the Menace" as he is the little trouble maker of the group but Kady is not far behind him in the antics department. So far we don't have any "official" lap kitties, but (as you can see in one of the pictures I sent along) they do sit on my lap fairly often now. No one sits with my mom yet but Kady greets her every morning by climbing up in her face and laying on her chest. Mom LOVES this! All of my cats are very social, so quite frequently we have all 5 downstairs with my mom....playing, laying or ''whatever". We love them so much...THANKS for adding so much happiness to our household! I hope you and your families are well and happy! Have a great summer! I pray that NAR (& special people like YOU) continues to make many more cats and families as happy as you have made us! Take care and I will write again sometime! (Sorry there are so many pictures...we have too many to choose from!) Jane

I just wanted to thank everyone who works for this organization!! You guys help so many deserving souls find homes. I adopted Keyara (formerly Nikkou) and she is the joy of my day, everyday. I cannot imagine her being alone, and it is because of your generosity that she is able to have a permanent home with me. Thanks again!

Jayme, Thank you for taking the time for myself and my family to adopt Skunk (now Jezebel) and Samuel (now Figaro). They are doing amazingly well, they have even adopted the dog. The boys are so happy to see them scamper through the house and delighted each time they are licked by one of the cats. They are happy and healthy and seem to have doubled in size in just a week. Good luck with all the other cats and thanks again.

Jayme, I used to volunteer for you a few years ago before I moved to the Netherlands. I was just checking in on things with NAR. The new website is great! I think of NAR often and hope all of the cats soon find their furever homes. Thank you to everyone who adopts or fosters these cats.
