I am writing to give you some news about Ayuni and me... I don't know if you remember that I said that probably I was coming back to Brazil. So on February, Ayuni and I came to Brazil. She was a little scared, but she had a very nice trip, behaved very well, didn't get sick and she has adapted to the new home without problems. She is amazed with the amount of birds she sees every afternoon. Ayuni is very playful. Here she is wearing the Brazilian jersey.

I just want to share my adoption story from Northeast Animal Rescue. I had to put my beloved cat Norton asleep several days earlier. I thought the best way to celebrate Norton's life was to give another cat a chance. I always saw the cats when I would shop at Petsmart. Having 3 cats and 2 dogs at the time, I knew I couldn't take another pet. A few days after Norton's death, I really felt the need to help an animal have a great life. I contacted Northeast Animal Rescue and found someone that really cared about who was going to get a pet and if they knew the responsibility that goes with it. I was very impressed on the knowledge and the caring that went into the adoption. I was very much in mourning but helping another animal made me celebrate Norton's life and make a positive out of a deep hurt. I could never replace Norton and I wasn't trying to do that. I am giving another animal a chance at a great life. I looked at "Grapes" now called Ryan Howard, and knew he was right for me. He is so happy now. He gets along great with my other 2 cats and loves both my dogs. Northeast Animal Rescue really cares and deserves special recognition. Here is a happy Ryan! Denise Szustowicz

Yonnie
Searsha (Destiny) and Noolah (Yonnie), also known as "the girls", are just great! They are both lovely, sweet kitties. They get along very well, are very playful with me and with each other, and seem very comfortable and happy in their new home. Thank you for checking in and asking about them. They are both very special kitties, and I adore and cherish them! I've attached a few photos taken back in the winter when they were snuggling up in their beds.

They are doing fantastic!!! I love them so much....they got so big! Very very healthy too. They look good! The most loving cats I have ever met! How are things over there? Actually,,,,when I adopted them, I renamed the white one "Leo" and the orange one "Rocky." I thought they were more fitting and they both know their names when I call them. I attached some updated pics of them. You can totally tell they are brothers...they always clean and sleep with each other :)
