11/3/05-1/21/12 I want to tell your personally about Aquilla. She was put sown today after an emergency trip to the ER last night. She was having trouble breathing which we thought heart. Then that was ruled out to think Asthma. They sedated her because they were concerned about a section in her throat. Today they were able to look under anesthesia and find a huge mass which was occluding her airway. Instead of waking her up she was humanly put to sleep. Not being able to say goodbye in person it broke my heart to give permission not to wake her up. She is now running pain free over the rainbow bridge and I will see her one day again. She has been in my care for over 2 years when we pulled her from Animal Control after her owner surrendered her. She was a difficult cat to place as she was blind and if someone did not alert her to your coming she would swipe out. She has had a wonderful 2 years with my cats and my family. Running up and down steps playing with her toys which once in her mouth she would chirp away. She would sleep backwards on the steps at the very top. I will so miss you ..
12/07 to 12/10: Dasher, you were a wonderful foster kitty and I will miss you deeply. I will miss you sleeping on my feet and your little meow when you wanted to be fed. The couch won't look the same without you. Love always, your foster mom
Peggy came to us to find her forever home. Unfortunately, we lost Peggy Sue last night to a nasty virus. This virus is preventable with annual vaccines but because she was still young and vaccinated, she was able to pick it up and not be able to fight it off. Being only 4 months old, her immune system was not strong enough. We will all miss you, Peggy Sue. RIP (NAR Fosters)
Jack: October 2009-February 2010. Jack was a furball of fun. With his unique markings, he was a cutie that an NAR volunteer couldn't resist. Having taken care of him since he was 4 weeks old, it was hard to see him pass. Jack brought sunshine to the volunteer's life and he will be missed by her and all his 4-legged friends. R.I.P. Love, Deb
Milly was born in January 2009. Milly was a very sweet, friendly, loving kitten who enjoyed playing and running around her foster mom's house with her silblings. Milly was a favorite with many NAR volunteers. Milly got sick and could not recover from her illness. She passed away on July 21, 2009. Milly will be very much missed by her foster mom who loved her dearly and all of the NAR volunteers who knew her over her few months she had here with us.
