The facts: 3-5 year old DSH brown tabby spayed female, FIV positive, needs home ASAP.

This is who she really is: Gert is looking for a home to call her own - even though she likes the attention she receives at the veterinary clinic where she is staying and the cat bed and toys we bought her, it's just not the same.

The first thing people notice about Gert is that she's CUTE !! She's a chubby brown tabby, slightly cross-eyed and her tongue sticks out sometimes 'cause she's missing most of her teeth...we don't really know why - she came that way.She is very playful (her pink mouse is her favorite - when she gets put in her room she'll keep swatting it back under the door for somebody to play) loves to chase her bouncy toys and sleeps with her beanie ostrich.

She would prefer to be the only pet as she's a little "jealous" when any of the house pets get attention and loves to be the center of attention. She is kinda' like a dog - she'll grab your arm and mouth it in play like a puppy, she chases her toys and would REALLY like to sit and watch TV with you.

Her FIV status is stable - she is in good health otherwise - her pot belly speaks of her love of fine food and she has no litter box issues. Would you like to meet her?
