Description:

Lou was left in a woman's yard in a cage with a garbage bag partially covering the cage.  It was pouring rain out with thunder and lightening, he was scared to death and did not know what he did to deserve to be treated this way.  NAR took him from the woman, he is now in a safe and dry place.  He is a sweet and friendly cats who is just looking for someone to give him a forever home.

Lou is now in foster home and here is what his foster dad has to say about Lou:

Lou has been doing well here. He would be a wonderful companion for someone.  Lou is clearly a cat who likes to be with someone all the time. He likes to dance across my toes and try to keep me from walking away.

He does like to have a friend around him at all times. He is getting used to the routine however, and doesn't explore as much any more. He is content to stretch out and nap.

Lou’s favorite spot in the morning, well actually, his second favorite spot, after the food bowl is to lay in the sunshine rays streaming in the window at the top of the stairs. When it is sunny, Lou will stop exploring and lay in the sunbeam at the top of the steps. He will come in to my office and when I stroke his back is seems to be about 20 degrees warmer. He will lie quietly, for a change, until the sun has moved away. Then he will come in to my office and jump up on my desk and walk around the big monitor once before lying down between my big monitor and the keyboard. His path always includes a few steps on the laptop keyboard.

Lou also likes some treats once in a while. I just have to shake a few out onto my hand and he will come running.

Lou was born around May 2005.  His is neutered, tested negative for FIV/FeLV, and is up to date on shots.
