Description: Costello and his brother Abbott were orphaned at four weeks of age. They were adopted by a nursing mother whose own kittens failed to thrive. Costello is playful, but skittish. He runs when approached too quickly, but doesn’t mind being picked up and held if approached calmly. Costello gets along well with other cats; he enjoys wrestling with his brother Abbott, and stalking the birds in their cage.
Costello has some cornea damage in his left eye due to an old infection. He is not blind in this eye, and his playing is not affected by the damage. The damage does appear to be diminishing with time; however, he may be extra-susceptible to eye infections in the future.
Born in September 2008, Abbott and Costello are neutered, tested negative for FIV/FeLV, and are up to date on vaccinations.
